36-month-old animal sets a new standard among Nelore breeding cows
Carina FIV do Kado, a three-time champion of the Nelore breed, made history as the most valuable cow in the world. The 36-month-old animal was valued at an impressive R$ 24.06 million after 25% of its ownership was sold for R$ 6.015 million during the Cataratas Collection Auction held on Friday, November 22, in Foz do Iguaçu, Paraná.
Ownership rights to Carina were negotiated among Casa Branca Agropastoril, RS Agropecuária, and Nelore RFA, who now share the remaining 75% of ownership with the new partner, Syagri Agropecuária, each holding 25%.
In addition to her record-breaking valuation, Carina is a benchmark among Nelore breeding cows. She has claimed prestigious titles, including those at the International Nelore Exhibition (Expoinel) in 2023 and 2024, and Expozebu 2024, all held in Uberaba, Minas Gerais.
