Sada Group Invests R$ 11 Million to Handle 7,200 Tons of Coffee Per Month

With an investment of R$ 11 million, the Sada Group, known for logistics and transportation of new vehicles, has announced plans to transport 37,000 tons of Brazilian coffee beans. The company began testing operations in January, although the official announcement was made this week.

According to the company, the coffee market is expanding, and Sada wants to diversify its business to participate in this growth. The coffee transport is being carried out through the group’s general cargo operations, which now include shipping beans for export.

The company stated that the initial investment reflects its confidence in the expanding coffee sector in Brazil, with a total capacity of 7,200 tons per month.

Although the announcement was made on Monday (November 4), the company transported more than 5,000 tons of coffee from January to August this year.

The group’s operations are located in southern Minas Gerais and Rio de Janeiro, with an annual export capacity of over 70,000 tons of coffee to the ports of Santos and Rio de Janeiro. “This required investment in specialized labor, as this type of cargo is transported using bi-train configurations, which are larger trailers up to 30 meters long,” the company’s statement explained.

According to Murillo Sperandio, executive in the General Cargo segment, “Since its founding, the Sada Group has prioritized business diversification, and the decision to enter this new niche came from the opportunity to establish itself in a competitive market in Brazil, which has significant growth and development potential.”
