The fifth edition of Wine South America, aimed at industry professionals, will take place in May next year in 2025.
After four editions held in September, the Wine South America fair, a key event in the Latin American wine market, will occur in May 2025. This change responds to the demand from producers and buyers. The first half of the year is strategic, as it is the time when the wine sector organizes for winter sales.
Hosted in Bento Gonçalves, in the Serra Gaúcha region, the event expects to facilitate over 2,000 meetings among various stakeholders in the industry, as well as promote business rounds.
In a statement to the press, Marcos Milanez Milaneze, director of WSA, highlights the fair’s potential, stating that it “will enhance forums that connect professionals for the sharing of experiences and information.”
“We will gather producers, importers, and buyers from all over Brazil for three days dedicated to the wine business and providing valuable content to the audience,” he affirms.
For 2025, WSA has already confirmed the participation of at least 360 brands from 20 countries, including Argentina, Uruguay, Portugal, France, Spain, and Italy, in addition to Brazil. It was announced that Italian wineries will have a stand the size of the last edition, showcasing their interest in the Brazilian consumer market.
With expectations of over R$ 50 million in business, Wine South America 2025 will take place from May 6 to 8 in an area exceeding 10,000 square meters at Fundaparque in Bento Gonçalves, where around 7,000 buyers are expected.
