BrasilAgro has announced the successful sale of the Alto Taquari Farm, located in a municipality of the same name in Mato Grosso. In a relevant fact statement, the company reported that it has completed the second phase of the property sale for R$ 189.4 million.

The document indicates that the amount is for the 1,157 hectares of the farm, which are equivalent to 1.1 thousand bags of soybeans per usable hectare. This sale will be accounted for in the second fiscal quarter of 2025.

With this completion, BrasilAgro transfers possession of the farm and ceases operations in that specific area. In October 2021, the company sold the first part of the unit, comprising 1,357 hectares (809 usable), for R$ 253 million, when soybean prices were higher.

As a result of this sale, all plateau areas of the Alto Taquari Farm have been sold, leaving BrasilAgro with 1,308 hectares (809 usable hectares) of adjacent areas with distinct soil and altitude characteristics. In the remaining area, the company cultivates sugarcane.

With this transaction, BrasilAgro has accumulated R$ 2 billion from land sales over the past five years.
